Today is the day of the Tour of Flanders, the second classic monument of the year. A ruthless and particularly selective race, which, due to the postponement of the Paris-Roubaix, will close the series of events on the stones. The planned 254.3 kilometers will be on a route that will take the participants from Antwerp to Oudenaarde.
Tour of Flanders, the route

The first 100 km of the race are without any particular difficulties. The real turning point will come with the first sections in pavé in Lippenhovestraat, soon followed by those of the Paddestraat. Then off with the series of 19 walls to be faced.
It starts with the Katterberg and continues with the Oude Kwaremont, followed by Kortekeer, Eikenberg and Wolvenberg. Then new sections in cobblestones and you go up again with the Kanarieberg, and second passages on the Kwaremont and the Paterberg. It is here were the crucial phase starts. From -57km to -27km will be 30 kilometers of tough climbs and cobblestones, with in rapid sequence Oude Kwaremont, Paterberg, Koppenberg, Steenbeekdries and Taaienberg. For the grand finale and after Kruisberg / Hotond, we go back for the third time to the Oude Kwaremont and Paterberg, at -17 and -13.

The latter will become the final judges of the selection in view of the finish line.
