Jorge Mendes, historical agent of Cristiano Ronaldo and Josè Mourinho, among others, also enters in the cycling world. Polaris Sports, the Portuguese athlete image rights representation company, has announced that it will manage João Almeida and Ruben Guerreiro, both Portuguese cyclists showed off in the last Giro d’Italia.

Polaris Sports have announced a partnership with @CORSOsports, which aims to optimize the commercial prospects of Portuguese athletes followed by the German cycling agency. The agreement will be also extended to three other Portuguese professionals of the world cycling elite managed by Corso – André Carvalho of the Cofidis World Tour team, and the brothers twins Ivo and Rui Oliveira, of UAE-Team Emirates.

Almeida, 22 years old from the Deceuninck-Quick Step and became the best Portuguese rider in the Giro d’Italia, finishing the last edition in fourth place and spending 15 days in the pink jersey. Rúben Guerreiro, 26, with the EF Education-Nippo jersey won the 9th stage in the same Giro in 2020, also winning the blue jersey of the climbers classification.
